This course is not a traditional names, dates, and battles view of WWI. The History of WWI will cover
some of those details, while also diving into the common causes of wars across the ages. We will look at
technology and how it affects war, and investigate how the human spirit responds to war through art and
literature. This course will also challenge students to reason through some of the tough questions we all have
about the horrors of war.
