This is a one year class. Students will continue to write about American History using The Institute for Excellence in Writing’s Structure and Style. Students will learn how to incorporate IEW’s Structure and Style elements to improve their writing skills. During the spring semester, students will learn to summarize multiple references, practice inventive writing, learn formal essay writing models, formal critique, and response to literature. New students must have 1+ years of IEW experience.
