                  Ready to go on an adventure? Join this class and take off on adventures you can only live through the pages of a wonderful book. We will enjoy exploring each book and adventuring together as we learn story elements and vocabulary as well as some history and geography of the places we explore.  In our own version of a book club, we will discuss each week’s assigned reading and enjoy hands-on activities that help us more deeply understand each story.  Even if reading is a challenge, students are encouraged to use audiobooks to access the material.  “Ear reading” (aka listening), is still a great way to engage with a wonderful story.
