Calling all young entrepreneurs! This one-semester class will help students practice real life math and business skills as they open their own “store”. Grades 4-6 can choose to create their own Pet, Sports or Book Store; design a logo, signage and cover all of the startup details, as well as manage inventory, sales and supply ordering while working through addition, subtraction, multiplication and division concepts. This is an exciting and effective way for kids to not only get creative but also put their core academic skills to use in a group setting. We will also be planning and preparing for the 10:10 Craft fair as part of this class. Also open to students in grades 7-8 who need a refresher in math skills, and/or would like to grow in entrepreneurial skills.
