This class will encompass so much learning through geography! We will focus on traditional geography, using maps to study the physical locations and features of countries in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Oceania and the Americas. Topics will include the history of the land, the people, and their culture from ancient times until today. Furthermore, we will include how the geography of the land influences geopolitics and has shaped each region's current international relationships. This class is open to all students in 7th-12th grades.
