In this hands-on cooking class for grades 4–6, students will learn kitchen safety, hygiene, basic cooking skills, and simple nutrition concepts. Emphasis will be on measuring, safe utensil use, teamwork, and reading/following recipes. Students will prepare several no bake recipes and if heat is required for a dish it will be thoroughly supervised. Most importantly students will be tasting their creations!
