Student Council 2026-2027

This course is a hybrid program for registered students who desire to serve our community through planning and leading on-campus events and activities.

Students in grades 7–12 desiring to participate must register for this class, which meets on campus select Mondays from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The leadership course also includes an academic component, teaching leadership skills from a biblical perspective. During class sessions, students will learn parliamentary procedures, practice leadership council meeting structures, and develop event-planning skills. Committee and group work will take place either on campus on pre-calendared Mondays or via Zoom during the same time period.

Any student desiring to run for an office including but not limited to: Student Council President or Student Council Vice President must be enrolled.

On-campus availability is highly recommended on Mondays and Wednesdays (during activities/events). Students who serve in officer positions—including but not limited to President, Vice President, and Class Representatives—must also commit to being on campus for the majority of Mondays.
