Exploring the World Through Literature, teacher: Sarah Simpson

This class is meant to inspire a love of reading while developing vocabulary, comprehension, analytical, and basic research skills.  Books are carefully chosen to be especially engaging and include opportunities for further learning about culture, countries, political, and relational issues.  Students will be challenged to master the basic literary elements of story through reading at home, and spend class time engaged in group discussion, lecture, note taking, and essay quizzes. New students are welcome to join for the spring semester.
