In this interactive class, students become builders, designers, and problem-solvers as they explore math
through hands-on LEGO challenges. Each week, they’ll use measurement, geometry, fractions, and ratios to
plan, construct, and test creative builds that bring math to life. From designing bridges with specific weight
limits to creating scaled models of their favorite spaces, students will apply real-world math skills in exciting,
tangible ways. Journaling and reflection time will help them connect their designs to mathematical thinking
and STEM principles. A component of this class will include Lego Boost Robotics. Teamwork, creativity, and
critical thinking are encouraged as students work together to measure, model, and build with purpose.
