Open to all 7th - 12th grade homeschool students! Our first meeting will be June 24th from 10am - 1pm. Student should wear clothes conducive for looking at and working on cars, and bring a water bottle. Summer days will be hot! We will meet almost every other Wednesday at this same time. Dates are listed below and on our Google Classroom page. More info will be posted there. We are going to look at various aspects of car ownership and care, and take on some projects that we are able to get done. Students are encouraged to bring their car (if they have one). This will be a mixed bag of information, shop work and time to hang out with friends interested in cars. Sample activities include: car restoration and cleaning, oil changes, brake jobs, resolving engine codes and doing electrical repairs Tentative Meeting Dates: June 24th Parents are welcome to attend, watch, or just stay near. We will be outside the whole time. | |

Open to all 7th - 12th grade homeschool students! We just got back from our first full weekend camping, climbing and repelling trip to Boulder Basin. We had a blast and I am beginning to plan our next activity... but I need your help. If you are interested in doing another outdoor activity this summer, join our Outdoor Club Google Classroom page. We will have another virtual meeting soon to discuss our options. I am thinking of a hike or overnight backpack, a rafting trip on the Kern River in August, or a bike ride in the city. Please let me know your thoughts! | |
