Outdoor ClubThe Outdoor Club is going kayaking and hiking (or maybe bike riding) in Big Bear Thursday, 10/29. If you are interested, please Join the Outdoor Club on Jumbula, join the Google Classroom for updates, THEN Sign Up for the day trip in Google Classroom.Space will be limited and is based on the number of chaperones/drivers who sign up.We are also planning a camping trip to Death Valley!Parents, if you are interested in helping lead/chaperone activities, there will be a brief interview process and expectation of ability to participate in group outings (health and safety).Event: Thursday 10/29

Walk by Faith Scripture ChallengeWalk by Faith exists to encourage students to hide God’s Word in their hearts while staying active and connected within the 10:10 Academy community. Through monthly Scripture memorization, students will grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships with teachers, and be encouraged to live out God’s Word each day. This month, we’re excited to recognize one of our very own 10:10 students, Grace! During a break in her class schedule, Grace chooses to spend her time helping our Admin Coordinator. She is always willing to jump in wherever needed and does it with a joyful spirit and a smile.Here’s what Grace has to say about Volunteering at 10:10:I love being a volunteer at 10:10 because it teaches me to be more organized, and I get to meet a lot more people on campus. I feel meeting new people is how volunteering helps our 10:10 community, because some people can be scared about what could happen their first day and having someone that can help or talk to is awesome! I would recommend for you to volunteer especially if you are outgoing and love to talk to new people and plus it helps a lot of the teachers there! A Christ-like character that describes volunteering is having a servant’s heart like it says in Philippians 2:3. Don’t do it for yourself but do it also for God.-- Grace | |
